Pros
EAH is great when it comes to compensation, possibly one of the top paying affordable housing management companies. Although, this does depend on the property budget.
Cons
But thus far, pay is great. Other than that it was a challenge, I have a list. Your experience might be differ from mine. But I am a well known hard working individual in this property management industry. I learn that the disorganization of this company will make it impossible to succeed if you are new. The only thing i can think of that made it smoother on-boarding for me was the support system given through the property neighbors. My work colleagues made it a bit easier to withstand the toxicity of the work culture in this company. Training is none existent depending on who your property manager is. You will be trained from one person but then be informed by your direct supervisor that the completion of the task is incorrect which made the whole training process extremely exhausting on top of the managing the daily operations of the property and staff on-site. One thing i may say is that, once you get the grip of things it may be easier to go with the flow, however, with my experience this company over works there employees to the max, no other company requires managers to do as much as this company makes you do. FYI some property supervisors (regional managers) will forward there work to you be careful with that if you don't want to carry that heavy load. Such as the financial statements and reports to investor/owners.
