In an industry that is typically extremely stressful and has a high turnover rate, it is really nice to be at a company that values longevity with their employees, can work hard but also have fun while doing it, and is headed by an owner that actively participates in the day-to-day.

You do have to be able to move quickly, and think for yourself. Being in property management, there are often things that happen that are new situations to even upper staff, and you must be willing to learn with them as these situations come up.

The sole benefit to working at this company is free company lunches.

There is no training/onboarding for any position and you are looked down on if you ask questions in order to do your job. You have to use your own laptop computer and phone since the company can’t afford the necessary technology for employees. There is no PTO for personal, sick, or holiday reasons until at least one year has passed; however, most employees leave after a handful of months. The turnover rate at this company is absurd but it’s not shocking. People are promoted at random into positions where they don’t have the slightest clue how to succeed just so the CEO can brag about “growth and advancement”.
