Mostly stable hours Trustworthy HR director Day off for a community service project Many employees are dedicated to doing what's right for the customer. When (emphasis on when) management is good, its pretty good.
Cons
Ever-increasing amount of stress and work pushed off from other departments. Management is not forthcoming with information. "Good-ol-boys Club" that encourages employees to not look as if they are being social instead of working at all times. Most departments have their own goals that conflict with every other department. Executives have no idea what is really going on as is evident by employee concerns rarely being addressed no matter how much evidence is given. Management is not interested in your career path at ECI. They will ask you and never give information on how to reach that goal. New product is a broken mess that is being pushed down customer's throats while support has not even seen the full product. Company values (People > Customer > Value > Financials) is a joke that executives believe is happening, employees wish was true, and management parrots to keep their positions.
