This used to be a wonderful place to work. Pay was a little lower than the market and health coverage was garbage which they blamed on the employees, but decent enough.
This company went in the trash can when they acquired a number of softwares from a another software company and must have written in the contract that the other companies' employees would be given management and director roles. They took over huge portions of our vertical.
Internal career development evaporated, the new people did things their way for a few years and failed, then the company got rid of outstanding long-standing employees like myself to solve their revenue hemorrhaging caused by all the horribly thought out and executed plans from the new people. Worth noting a majority of these directors and managers quit within a few years, leaving ruined departments in their wake.
This company pretends to care about employees, and maybe they do to an extent. If their bad choices put them in a financial bind though, they won't even blink before tossing you out. Especially if you did well for yourself and made considerably more than some of your peers due to high performance.
