Pros

You'll think everything is great for the 30 days before you recieve your first paycheck!

Cons

They don't pay you. Literally. They don't pay you. Pay checks bounce, they take away commissions for NO reason, they hold checks illegally, they screw up direct deposit EVERY TIME. When you try and get your check corrected, or resubmitted, they ignore you. Completely. They don't care about the clients. They have screwy personal training contracts in place to screw these innocent people out of money. NO FOLLOW THROUGH FROM ANY UPPER MANAGEMENT. I can't tell you a single instance where anything promised to me was given to me. Not one time. No one answers the phone or returns emails. They claim to be the most ethical and trustworthy people. That's a lie. Insane work hours! Have you ever wanted a position where you work 72 hours a week, 12 hours a day, no overtime, only get paid for 40 and get one day off? Well then this is the job for you! Completely under compensated and horrible work hours. I can't remember the last time I ate, slept, or had time to even feed my fish since starting here. Going to bathroom is the only escape you'll get from this terrible work environment. Employees cry at work. They get physically ill from the stress. I have never hated a job more in my entire life. I'm just waiting for a new job offer before I storm out those doors and never come back. Working here was the biggest mistake of my life. It has turned me off from the Fitness industry. I became a personal trainer to help people, and thanks to this company, I never ever want to train anyone ever again. This job has ruined my entire life, relationships, physical health, mental health and even my perspective on people. This is absolutely no exaggeration. Do not take a job here. It will not get better. I waited far too long, and I hate my life. Thanks Triumph/EFT/Professional!

Pros

Place to gain experience in training for someone new to the field of training. Most times they accept any certification so its a good way to start because management feeds you clients so you don't have to totally rely on yourself to sell, but once you get your experience go some place better. As with training, your clientele depends on your location. If the people who attend your gym don't have money don't expect a ton of clients. They do promote from within so if you manage to consistently sign people up for training the chance to get promoted is there and often great sales performance will move you up the ladder very quickly

Cons

Pay isn't great. You will get complaints from clients about the customer service as they have to jump through hoops to cancel sometimes. Trainers often are not taught how to sell training so they expect you to book appointments with potential clients but some club managers don't teach you how to write contracts so you getting commission off of a deal is at their discretion.
