The pay is decent and the hours were flexible. Great position for college students or somebody that just needs to make some extra money on the side.
Cons
Would not recommend if you are looking for a career. Management does not get treated well and that trickles down to the fitness trainers. Worked there 4 years and must have seen at least 10 different managers. They offered the job to me and I declined because I saw what the managers had to go through. Everyone is expendable and replaceable.
Easy Interview, friendly environment, chance for gaining valuable experience. The people are passionate about what they do and it is very infectious. The executive management is very accessible which you wouldn't get in a large company.
Cons
It is transitioning to a commercial company so there are growing pains associated to it. Still using paper-based system which makes most things inefficient.
