Pros

- The resignation proceeded without too much drama

Cons

- Seniority evaluation felt rushed and disconnected from my actual background. Years of experience and previous titles were discounted in favor of an "internal framework" considered infallible. In the end my seniority was, is and remains what it was supposed to be, regardless of said framework and the prepped response to this review. - If speaking multiple languages and having lived and worked across multiple countries and companies is not worth a senior role in your company, then nothing is and I am simply happy not to work here anymore. - In my view, companies should avoid actively sourcing candidates if the intention is to offer them significantly lower seniority and salary than their previous roles, especially when this is justified solely by market conditions. - The responsibilities assigned to the mid‑level role exceeded what the title and salary band would normally imply. It often felt like performing multiple roles without appropriate recognition. - I observed a noticeable cultural shift toward a Silicon‑Valley‑style environment. This may not align at all with the expectations of employees who joined under a different set of values.

Dear Glassdoor member, Thank you for taking the time to provide such comprehensive feedback regarding your experience with us. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us identify areas where our processes may not be aligning with candidate expectations. We are sorry to hear that you felt your previous academic and professional achievements were not sufficiently recognized. At our company, we use a multi-step recruiting process to assess seniority levels according to our internal standards. Our goal is to ensure that every new hire is placed into a salary band that is consistent with their peers. We are sorry to hear that our communication during the offer phase was perceived as dismissive. We strive for a swift hiring process and clear communication and expectation setting, also to avoid any misunderstandings. Our offer process includes an offer call to discuss not just the offer, but also the overall mutual expectations. After the call we summarize everything in an offer email and provide the candidate time to reflect on the offer and to follow up with questions when needed. If you would like to share more specific details or discuss your experience further, please feel free to reach out to us directly via jobs@egym.com. We would value the opportunity to learn more from your perspective. We wish you all the best in your future professional endeavors. Best regards, Your EGYM People Team

Opportunities for advancement, career development and getting your hands into lots of projects inside and outside your original scope. OUTSTANDING benefits... unlike anything I've seen before. High level of transparency - even when it's difficult. Senior, c-suite very accessible, involved and high touch with all markets Delivers real value to the communities it serves A company with a heart and conscience

Cons

Global organization so sometimes having meetings with colleagues across the pond requires a lot of flexibility. Thankfully they always speak English on the calls and accommodate our schedules:)
