Pros
They allow you to grow quickly and be actively involved in important and relevent aspect of the company, they aren't going to have you fetching coffee and twiddling your thumbs, but they might ask you to develop some custom test software for their new products. The team is amazing, kind, understanding and still committed to excellence. The management is engaged and cares, but doesn't micro manage.
Cons
They are small, and so your income isn't going to be anywhere close to what you can get working for the big names like google.
