Pros

50% match on 401k, $2 shift differential for 2nd shift, $1 for 3rd shift. Benefits at 90 day mark, vision, dental, and health available. They use a hands off approach to management, allowing you to work at your own pace as long as the work is completed. Opportunity to further your machinist knowledge with classes being offered during working hours. Over all there is steady work that provides a steady paycheck. You may not be doing the same task and get rotated around to keep you busy but you'll get your hours in.

Cons

No one has really taken leadership of tasks to ensure things are getting done properly as a whole. Each shift lead has their own idea of how things should be done regardless of what the production team members(office staff) advises they want done next. You have a lot of side walk superintendents telling you how to do your job even if they know little to nothing about your job. So you have a hard time figuring out what should be done next sometimes. Machinery is severely outdated leading to a difficult time learning some of the processes you are required to preform. The main issue is that the equipment is poorly maintained leading to interruptions in production or down time, when it does get worked on its often a 'temperary fix' leading to another issues just as you get started into production again. Over all, employees are underpaid and it shows through with it being difficult to make a livable wage.
