Pros

Generally, a nice place to work. The company tries to provide a pleasant atmosphere; coffee/tea available all the time, gym to work out in, occasional company lunches.

Cons

Not enough technicians available for the work load. Instead of focusing on customer service, and providing the best to their existing customers, they are constantly trying to recruit new customers. I guess they don't understand that people are loyal, and if you give them good service, they will stay with the company. Instead, they are worried about getting new "deals", rather than what made their company different from other alarm companies.

Pros

First place I’ve ever worked where everyone is sweet and kind. Even the CEO. Set boundaries early or you will have a lot on your plate.

Cons

Not a lot of communication between departments. It’s more annoying than a serious problem. Set boundaries early or you will have a lot on your plate.

Pros

The atmosphere is very good at EMC Security. It is very clear that customer safety is the number one priority with procedures in place that are strictly adhered to. The size of the company makes it easy to get things done. There is not a lot of red tape to make decisions so we can act quickly as needed. Upper management has an open door policy and I feel comfortable popping in to ask questions or talk as needed. It is clear that they care very much about their employees and customers and always strive to do the right thing - even in a difficult situation. Overall, I really like working at EMC Security. I like the duties associated with my job, feel comfortable and welcome every day, and feel like my contributions are valued.

Cons

Like a lot of companies, communication between upper management and employees could be improved.
