Pros

You will not have to put in a honest day's work (which can be a con for honest people); Decent pay and benefits; Flexibility of work schedule and side projects

Cons

Poorly-run from top executive level down to lowest level managers; Unclear direction and incompetency at all levels of the organization including elementary-level, disoriented opinion-based performance rating system; It is like working for a secret society full of political cults and back-stabbing and jealousy; Most all key group discussions happen behind closed doors between buddies to drive personal agendas; Intelligent, professional, high-impact individuals are dragged down and martyred due to pride and egos of others; Sound input and slam dunk business opportunities are shot down since it may generate extra work for others; Time-wasting and unproductive, non-responsive employees are rewarded for not ruffling feathers and accepted by the majority as part of lazy work ethic and foul culture

It is great to hear you value the people you work with at EMD Electronics. Strong collaboration and mutual respect are key to how we want teams to operate. We also understand that limited office locations can mean longer commutes and additional travel time. Site footprint and hybrid arrangements depend on business needs and role requirements, but feedback like yours helps inform ongoing discussions on how we can make ways of working more practical. Please continue to share your perspective through your manager, HR, or the Employee Engagement Survey so we can keep improving the employee experience.

Pros

Project was interesting. Team was friendly. Great pay for an intern.

Cons

Project was a small time commitment and a lot of my time was spent doing nothing which quickly became painfully boring. Multiple attempts at asking for more work led to nothing. While the team was friendly, nobody took much interest in my work or my experience except for my manager. Felt a bit unstructured/unprepared for an intern.
