Employee Owned and Growing - Manager EMI Services Employee Review

EMI Services has provided a wonderful opportunity to work and learn new things. They also provide an environment where work and life balance out. The management of EMI Services truly cares about the employee and tries to accomodate any special circumstances. It's great to not only feel needed, but wanted as well. EMI is an employee owned company.

As a government contractor, the management of EMI is limited in a lot of areas. Most all the wages are governed by the Service Contract Act or Collective Bargaining Agreements so wages & benefits are set. If the Government doesn't increase a prevailing wage--the company can't increase wages.

Their are no pros to working for this company

Extremely unorganized, Management staff lack skills to properly run the divisions, Significant issues with discrimination relating to race, sex, and disabilities. Unskilled labor in many divisions due to management hiring friends and family that do not have the proper experience to complete work. They offer no training, support, or guidance. They get zero stars in every aspect with the exception of their benefits package but only because the labor is hired on through local 602 and are given their benefits package and not directly from EMI.
