Pros

1. If you want to have some worst experiences of your life and learn from them then go to epam systems Hyderabad

Cons

1. Too much politics 2. Can fire employees anytime. Their MD came and said there won't be firing because people were changing companies due to job insecurity. Next day 10 people were fired. 3. Management uses personal comments on people to get their work done. It happened with few of my former colleagues. 4. HR is a joke here. They don't have any power as such. All power lies with management. If anyone faces any harrasment then you are on your own. I complained about someone and they made me talk to that person instead taking an action or even going in detail of matter. 5. Their is only work. No life here. I was made to work on weekends. Did really hard work. But it's all in cain because management have some favorite people to take my credits.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We take these issues very seriously and we are always looking to improve the work environment in EPAM. To bring in more transparency, we have various forums within the organization where associates can express their grievances and Management works with commitment to resolve the issues. Post acquisition, to align with new business model and eliminate redundancies, last year we initiated few measures to ensure the organization is set on a new course. Since then EPAM India is on a strong growth path. We have been on new associate acquisition based on revised hiring process and restarted campus hiring as well. We have added a new state of the art 1700 capacity centre in Hyd and will be adding a new centre sometime next year in Pune. We are planning to expand in Bangalore as well. As part of work-life balance, various benefits like work from home, hobby building like Yoga, Zumba, Photography, Painting, indoor and outdoor sports etc are organized regularly. As part of honing skills, Associates are provided opportunities to participate in events like Hackathon, Engineering Excellence, Tech Talks, Mentoring programs, career advancement programs like Delivery Management & Soln Architect school etc. To avoid bias, promotions are handled by an expert panel through Unified Assessment and associate is at discretion to opt for the process. Even associate has the flexibility to receive feedback from peers, client, team members apart from Manager through the Feedback tool. At times, based on the project criticality, associates are called for weekend working and compensated by providing comp off. This is industry specific problem and not restricted to EPAM.

Pros

Amazing team—very collaborative, supportive, and welcoming from day one. Strong leadership, my manager is incredibly supportive and gives you autonomy to take ownership and bring new ideas forward. There is a well-structured environment—processes are clear, well explained and continuously improving. Great opportunities to learn; many trainings and tools available to support professional growth. People genuinely care about each other and create a positive work environment.
