The outward sustainability focus attracts people who truly care about sustainability and making the world a better place. These people are great to be amongst, and some interesting and impactful sustainability projects happen here as a result.
Cons
The focus on metrics to demonstrate your value to the company and achieve progression is to the detriment of clients and sustainability as a goal. This is coupled with a poor rewards system, resulting in staff being incentivised to focus on progression (chasing pay that they deserve) rather than on delivering sustainability benefits through quality work for clients.
