Pros

Generous company benefits Hybrid working You are exposed to variety of tasks and responsibilities at ERM

Cons

Top heavy HR Hierarchal structure. Senior management in HR tend to brush under the carpet/ have a selective hearing approach when it comes to feedback and criticism. Salaries are well below market average/London living wage Junior HR employees are instructed to come into the office more than rest of the HR team even though they are paid the least and contribute a larger proportion of their income on travel and expenses. They are not backfilling HR admin positions within the team, hence expecting us to take on a bigger workload. Even if they plan to backfill, they are advertising/looking to hire replacements in Poland to save on costs to wages which I find quite telling of the company's values and ethics. Processes are very manual and they have brought in a rubbish/ laborious case management system to monitor our workload/response times to queries - the system is a complete shambles and doesn't function well nor was it implemented properly Constantly being given more tasks to do from other departments despite evermore reduced headcount within the team, as well as having to learn processes from other countries in EMEA for little or no appreciation or reward Bonuses are poor Felt very ignored. looked down upon by certain senior members in the HR team. The headcount of the business has increased to over 1400 employees yet they do not understand that the admin team are/have been severely under-resourced for several months. They also tried to make one of us redundant during this period. I
