Pros

good learning platform but once you have learnt everything you can learn, please leave.

Cons

Managers lack fundamental skills, experience and professionalism to maintain a team of employees in Operations Dept. People keep on leaving after max of 3 years due to the patronising attitude of managers. Complaint (from shoppers and from full time members of the team) are swept under the carpet, senior member of the team rude, unapologetic and offensive towards full time colleagues and self-employed shoppers (homophobic and racist comment were heard and management laughed it off instead of setting by example). Management seems to be afraid of approaching the senior executive that everyone is complaining about instead plays 'dumb' and dismissing complaints. Cliquey and very close minded management, there is no international members of the team and no scope for career progression. Extra hours put in on a daily basis, no appreciation nor a word from management.

Pros

Mystery shopping assignments easy and clear-cut Good initial first impression (unfortunately)

Cons

Market research assignments lacked clarity. They requested a lot of work without having a clue as to how much hours that would take. And at some point, they stopped responding so not really a positive sign for the overall company. I would suggest people to avoid doing market research for them as freelancers as they don't seem to honour commitments or at least come clean about expectations and what constitutes meeting them or not.
