Pros

a company to learn from and then leave!

Cons

Managers and Senior members of staff are always criticising other departments (and colleagues behind their back), negative atmosphere in the office, no HR department to talk to when issues of HR nature arise, managers that have got no human touch nor training in how to coach, develop and motivate the teams. No support and when sharing my concerns about the way I was spoken to by a senior member of staff I was told "don't get hung up on semantics" and dismissed that way; the same member of staff has the habit of loud criticism in front of the whole team and put people down destroying their self confidence and ability to learn/do their jobs and this caused a few people to leave: temp and full time staff but management has done nothing about it and just sweeps it under the carpet, behaving 'surprised' when others have complaint about the same person (this has been witnessed by many former and actual employees). Lack of understanding of different cultures and a slightly sexist and racists comment (laughing about gay couples in our database, our database of shoppers or making fun of non-british names) or laughing about a non-british colleague's pronunciations. Managers do not have the employees back and they do not even talk to each other. Promised many training and received none. No flexibility of working hours and very low pay for the amount of pressure and stress. Lastly, absolutely no chance to improve one's position unless one leaves.
