Pros

You can pick up work when you want. Some schools can be chill. Its money when you don't have other options and you want something as an option when the world is burning around you and need a little stability.

Cons

You may drive farther out and some schools are farther away (early mornings, bc you have to be there earlier than when students get there). You don't have regular jobs, they're at different schools. You don't get paid when there is a holiday or teacher planning period day. You don't really have any benefits. They have weird deposit days, and I really never know when I'm going to get paid for a job or when or if I'll see it in my checking account until like the end of the month.

Pros

Flexible hours and rotating workplaces

Cons

Corporate is lazy and underpays. They pretend they give benefits, but the benefits offered are prohibitively expensive for nigh nonexistent coverage. Hours are not gaurunteed. There are few to no restrictions on who is allowed to teach kids. During the "Interview" (there wasn't an interveiw) they just did an unpaid eight hour orientation training that they pretended was an interveiw so they could steal your fairly earned wages. I hate these guys.
