The internship is a perfect opportunity if your goal is to understand the process of product development for medical devices. You can also dip your feet into roles other than the one you were assigned since everyone appreciates those willing to learn and work hard. It’s one of those experiences where you get what you make of it so make sure you really spend some time trying to understand your role and responsibilities.

Definitely one of the more time-consuming and rigorous internships that I had and it was unpaid as well. It’s also all interns so lack of guidance or training could definitely be an issue. For leadership and managerial roles, be ready to attend meetings past office hours.
