Pros
- Cool coworkers - Home office available (before the pandemic) - Quite flexible working hours (e.g. no problem to go to see a doctor during working hrs) - Experience gained to start working somewhere else ;) (but seriously...if you have an opportunity to start somewhere else - don't waste your time here)
Cons
The biggest con of the company is its CEO, micromanaging and hard to work with person. Hard to create any positive relation with. HR (meaning coaching, solving any hr-related problems, motivation programs) doesn't exist - it's for payroll and recruitment only. Salary not competitive, rise not common (and if appears - really embarrassing amount), promotions hardly seen. Recruitment for higher positions: for family or friends of top management quite often (promotions from lower positions hardly seen). Working hours depending on department: operations dept - working more than 8hrs every day, weekend shifts about 14hrs a day (whole weekend every few weeks); client service and IT - quite normal (~8hr/day). Stressful atmosphere very often - especially when something (fail) happens, this could be solved by wise managing. No onboardings, workshops or trainings - my onboarding briefly was "sit and work", so first few months were really stressful. If you want to really learn something about eCommerce I strongly recommend to do that somewhere else. Here you can gain just a short experience (and very narrow knowledge tbh) to get an offer in another eComm company/agency.
