Pros

Casual environment. Almost too casual. Fellow employees weren't the problem and were always willing to help.

Cons

-The biggest metric management cares about? Phone time, which is monitored and recorded. When you realize most of the people you're cold calling are being cold called all day by other salespeople, they usually don't answer their phones. This is why most salespeople leverage email to promote a value proposition. -Speaking of value proposition, it's really hard to convey one there. They're a middleman, so you're not going to win on price usually. You also won't win on lead time, as a lot of the parts this company sources comes from overseas. -If you're not focused on selling new parts, you're supposed to position obsolete parts, where in many cases these parts are sourced from eBay. Since anybody can access eBay you're not creating any value for the customer. -You will not make much in commission there. Most salespeople weren't making anything beyond base pay, and the 1 or 2 people who made a commission said it was negligible.

Pros

EU is an excellent company to be a part of. The staff is ambitious and management is hands-on but not overbearing. The company values promoting from within and many of the staff have been here since day one. The team is full of experienced employees who are eager to share their knowledge and help each other succeed. The office culture is not only one of the most diverse I’ve been apart of, but also fosters a supportive and uplifting environment where colleagues genuinely want to see each other thrive. While there may be some adjustments with the company's growth, they do not hinder one's ability to perform at their best. It is rare to find such a supportive and ambitious team environment.

Pros

Hybrid - work from home Mondays and Fridays, leave early on Fridays Performance incentives Stress-free work environment (you can listen to your own music) Supportive management

Cons

Not really a con, more of a preference, but being antisocial it would be nice if we could have the option to work from home 3 days a week rather than 2. Also because I have a really long commute which takes a lot of time out of my day Rumor has it that the company doesn’t offer any sort of annual raise? I’ve only been with the company for about 6 months so I don’t know if that’s true but I was told by another employee that the only way to make more money is being promoted.
