Working with students has been an amazing experience. They make coming to work everyday easy! There are also many dedicated employees who love the students, campus and community.

EWU does an amazing job in many areas of the campus. However, it also suffers from an amazing lack of cohesion and silo effect. Way too many departments often duplicate services with the decision makers operating in different chains of command that don't meet up until the President's office. By the time it reaches that level, the decisions makers are far enough removed from the issues that they don't always have the information to make the right decision.
