1. Very Weak Leadership and Management Team; most of the managers at our site have been promoted strictly due to the fact that they have been with EXOS and Mark Verstegen (the founder) since they beginning and have showed undying loyalty to the brand. This makes it very difficult to establish communications let alone growth opportunities if your ideas or methodologies do not match the companies. It is common to be placed on a DO NOT HIRE or DO NOT PROMOTE list if you rub your manager the wrong way by simply speaking your mind. In addition, my feelings are mirrored by the site wide exodus of coaches that have left . In 2017, we hired 7 new coaches at our site and currently only 1 is still with the company. Please do not be impressed when their recruiters call and tell you the story that the company is growing and that they are hiring like crazy, this is simply due to the fact that the company continually needs to hire to fill in lost positions.
2. Low Pay; this has been repeated with many other reviews so I will not go into it too much but be aware that the 'honors award program' that the company spouts is rarely used and very hard to achieve. You would have to invent the 'squat' exercise all over again and still would only receive a few hundred dollars (less than 500).
