Pros

Loved what the company strived to embody but the community center gym that outsourced to EXOS did not do the same. The continuing ed portal was helpful for the small courses/ topic ideas I wanted to learn a little bit about before committing to spending big money on outside courses or certifications. Facilities were nice and cleaning staff came through regularly. Personal Training manager was kind, eager, personable, and encouraging.

Cons

Work environment was extremely cliquey and occasionally elitist and showed blatant favoritism. New client free intro sessions (Journey) was atrocious! It took an entire hour, payed at minimum wage and not regular wage, not guaranteed that client would signup with you, free to new gym members so a ton of no shows meant missed opportunity with reoccurring clients.

Pros

Love the company culture and values. It’s fun to be apart of an innovative company in the health and fitness industry. 90% of the people I have worked with over the years are great people that really know their stuff.

Cons

For the health and fitness industry the benefits and schedules are great for full-time employees but the pay is sometimes a little low. Pay is sometimes based on the account contract and yearly raises are rare, but small increases do occur to help with the increased cost of living.
