Pros
Retirement job. Transport benefits for those taking public transport.
Cons
Unfair treatment to newer and younger employees, new ideas are easily shot down or otherwise credits taken away as their own. No growth prospect in the company, recognition is non existent. Promotions & performance are gauged based on how long you are in the company and how you butter up to the higher ups. Company claims to promote a learning culture and be business driven but the moment you step out of the zone to explore other parts of the business, nothing will be recognised as department head are not able to "see" how well you perform. Micro-managing is a norm and as long you are not in office or if you are not sending emails at late night, you will be deemed as not working at all. Work load is not equally distributed and salary is severely low balled. Blame culture, lousy benefits, lousy practices, department politics, slow moving and out-dated. Takes a lot to find another job with this company listed in the resume.
