Pros

Truly kind people, great benefits (flexible time off, an on-site gym, 401K, health insurance options, etc.), senior leadership who legitimately value work-life balance

Cons

The company started an ownership change in 2019 so is still experiencing a rebuilding of the brand and the company culture. It's all positive changes but there are occasional growing pains. The company also has room to improve in the diversity of employees and leadership.

Pros

The schedule can be flexible, and you can often go home early if you're not having the best sales day. There were some very friendly, down-to-earth people working there when I was there.

Cons

Deceptive expectations set during onboarding. They give you these lofty figures of how much money you COULD make. What they leave out is that it's nearly impossible to get anywhere close to making that much with how EarthLink's products are currently positioned in the home internet scene. You might have a lot of sales or a high sales percentage, but you likely won't have both. If you're making sales, you'll be one of the few people taking calls until your sales percentage inevitably takes a nose dive. If you have a decent sales percentage but few sales, the payout for each of those sales will likely be next to nothing. MASSIVE difference in workload depending on the season. Some days I'd be waiting around for what felt like an eternity for a call, while other days I'd be slammed throughout my whole shift. You'll likely be having basically the same conversation with customers all day with only slight variations, which got kind of mind-numbing for me at times.
