Pros

Very nice owner & office staff.

Cons

Sales will be required to travel with your own vehicle everyday without a car allowance or mileage reimbursement. Also will will be required to furnish multiple reports weekly to the management who will publish (in straight numbers) to the entire company to create a competetive environment with sales staff. Sales expectations are unrealistic and sales will only be permitted to communicate with one manager for ANYTHING required or requested . All Emails and all communication must be cc'd with management. sales duties only handle the cold calling, sales calls appointment setting with distribution reps, show set up, sample management will handle all administrative and marketing without involving sales. Approvals are double scrutinized on expenses regardless regardless of furnish receipts and justification for normal business functions. No clear dissection of accounts and or territories this is a very competetive position with all sale reps in your own company including the management which has accounts as well. Samples also required to be received as little as 1 pallet and as much as 2 pallets (1 box average 20-35 Lbs roughly 30 boxes per box). every 2 weeks in which sales will be responsible to pick up and transfer to a storage facility with no assistance. Commision reports will have credit memos that deduct pay without notification and is difficult to figure out how paid commissions are totaled and will almost always seem to never exceed roughly $1,200 .00 id asked it will be told "it will be looked at" but will never get a clear answer. All sales will work the one food show set up and samples even though it will not be your customer and do not get any commision from that customer. The management will invite themselves on any meetings sales may have and insist on talking about irrelevant topics that will work against specific sales efforts with that group. Sales will be expected to be on call regardless if on weekends (especially Sunday) or vacations. Last all tortillas companies have their quality issues but this seems to be an ongoing thing customers will get product that is filled with mold because production forgot to put the right amount of preservatives and sales will be expected to handle those fires regardless.
