      I am working at Echelon Satnet since 2008, as Network Engineer and now as Operations Manager, I am working in this company because of the professional environment and friendly staff members.

      Since Echelon Satnet is not the industry's leading company so its hard to grow in this company

      Pros

      The pay is good but not enough to overcome the mediocrity.

      Cons

      "Old school" management doesn't manage at all. Surprisingly an old company like Echelon has managers that inept and unable to manage at all. Echelon is a purely reactive company with so little strategic planning that is difficult to fathom why they haven't burned through their cash by now. Don't expect to be supported with any traditional coaching, team building, or other common leadership techniques. Forget about Management sharing anything strategic with the teams.
