Great co-workers but management needs improvement - Graphic Designer Eden Foods Employee Review

Plethora of Knowledge, Food perks, pretty easy to do, don't ever take the work home with me: great coworkers and lower management. Average benefits are nothing extraordinary, just normal. I got along and actually enjoyed working with the owner and CEO; the wealth of knowledge and guidance I received was greatly appreciated. I felt valued and supported in my time there and navigated that time well.

There is little to no advancement or raises. That is not to say the opportunity is not there; it is; it's just at a slower pace with a ceiling that is reached quickly. There has never been work from home under any circumstance that is a deal breaker. Other staff have had issues with the owner that will be gossiped about or seen; this can be shocking and stressful for some. I personally would not stick around for some things I had witnessed, and I do not blame people for the reviews given, as they are not lying. I have seen the way that people have been spoken to, and it was absolutely a red flag. It was not my personal experience, but it was absolutely something I had witnessed, and it is true.

Toxic work environment Gossiping and spreading rumors was common among office workers Owner did not allow managers control of their departments. Micromanagement was constant. Lack of communication was a huge problem Associates who spoke up to help the company grow by making change were labeled as trouble.
