Pros
- Great colleagues. - Good training opportunities. Professional qualifications are open to pretty much anyone who shows initiative to take them. - Friendly atmosphere within the office. - Flexible working (Depending on your manager). - Good location in Bath (although Eduserv will be moving within the next year). - Benefits are good and there is a focus on employee well-being. A masseuse comes in every couple of months which is nice.
Cons
- Salary is lower end of market rates for more some employees, often leading to valued people leaving the company. - Still a little top heavy. - Despite efforts for Eduserv to be an equal employer, in the department I was working in there was an element of "old boys club" mentality with a small minority of people. For this type of company who are constantly changing and developing, this type of mentality is a backwards step and should be squashed asap.
