Pros
Feel like the purpose of saving patients is a driving force throughout the organization. This company is focused around a high touch culture where people get things done through relationships. So having strong people skills is definitely important to be successful here. There is a welcoming warmth to Edwards that definitely comes from the culture.
Cons
The company is growing which is a great thing and with it comes capacity and bandwidth issues. It's hard to keep up with the pace and more processes will be necessary to help scale and truly globalize. There are space issues as a result of growth. Working remotely is still new and most leaders are fearful it will impact the high touch culture. I see it as a flexible benefit to efficiency and effectiveness when managed well.
