Edwards Lifesciences Response
5yThank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
While many of our employees have continued to work from home during the last several months, we also put processes into place to enable employees them to spend time in the office. We are closely monitoring our current, everchanging environment, consulting with trusted medical advisors, local clinicians, and authorities, and are ensuring that we strictly follow evidence-based safety measures at our offices. Ultimately, we want to ensure we are taking the best steps possible to keep our employees safe. As just a few examples, we have implemented enhanced cleaning processes, ensured the number of people on campus is regulated to 50% or fewer (to allow for physical distancing), require non-contact temperature screenings for anyone coming onto campus, and require employees to practice proper hand hygiene and physical distancing. Currently, face coverings are required with the exceptions of closed offices when employees are alone, or in certain limited, designated outdoor spaces that allow for distanced meetings or dining.
Recently, given the current environment, schools starting virtually and other needs, we discussed broadly with our employees that we recognize some will have challenges resuming an on-site work schedule at this time. We encourage employees and their supervisors to have a conversation and to remain flexible when discussing schedules and options.
In addition, we remain steadfast in our commitment to continue to learn, listen, and act to strengthen our culture of diversity and inclusion. At Edwards, it is of the upmost importance that employees, of all backgrounds, feel valued and safe in the workplace. We take a strong stand against all injustice and racism. Discrimination, of any kind, is NOT tolerated and we highly encourage you to connect with your Human Resource Partner if you experience or observe these actions, so appropriate steps can be taken.
