Pros

flexible working & free canteen.

Cons

The company places significant emphasis on its external image and "Great Place to Work" branding, but this is not always reflected internally. There is a heavy reliance on contractors and consultants, while longstanding legacy issues remain unresolved. Strong employees and good intentions are often undermined by slow decision-making, bureaucracy, and a lack of focus on addressing core operational challenge

Pros

The canteen, flexi-hours and overall company atmosphere are all great positives. There is a nice social side to the company and I genuinely look forward to coming into work every day. The work is rewarding, with the opportunity to see our impact across the country's national grid.

Cons

It doesn't impact us directly, but the IT platform that the contractors must use is clunky, inefficient and slow and sometimes has a knock on effect to any collaborative/joint meetings or project work,
