Pros
During my five years with the SALT team, under the leadership of Scotty Amos and managers Melissa Sullivan and Jeffery Forrester I had the opportunity to grow in ways I could not have imagined. Leadership created an environment where learning was encouraged, skills were developed, and new challenges were met with support and solutions.
Leadership was consistently responsive, constructive, and genuinely invested in my success. As a single mother, maintaining a healthy work–life balance was essential. Scotty, Melissa, and Jeffery understood this and worked with me fairly and thoughtfully, ensuring I could be present for my children while continuing to advance in my career. Their support made a meaningful difference in both my professional development and my family life.
Our team experienced significant growth during those years, and with that growth came its own set of challenges. Even so, we navigated those changes together through collaboration and a shared commitment to moving in a positive direction. That period of transition strengthened us—individually and collectively—and reinforced a supportive work culture.
My decision to leave EA was a personal one driven by family responsibilities. It was never a reflection of the firm, my leadership, or my coworkers. I remain grateful for the support and opportunities I experienced during my time with the SALT team.
Cons
Work hours could be long during periods leading up to major deadlines.
