Pros

Few and far between. The friendships you make are the only bright spot about working at EisnerAmper.

Cons

The firm no longer cares about it's employees. They only care about growing, and growing rapidly. Employees are stretched incredibly thin as there are not enough resources to keep up with all of the work that needs to be done. This includes the operations group as well. There is also rampant, blatant favoritism going on within the company. The favoritism seems to expand to compensation, merit increases, & bonuses as well as distribution of work. I worked more hours, had a better work product (told so by my manager), was involved in the company resource groups and campus recruiting, and was overall more successful at my role than my male counterpart. My male counterpart told me he was spoken to a few times about his work not measuring up. This male counterpart was well liked by all across the firm....especially the partners. When it came time for merit increase and bonuses HIS were significantly greater than mine. That was the end for me. I worked harder, provided a better work product, had more chargeable hours, and was more involved in the company, yet his increase and bonus were greater. Makes no sense. The discrepancy between male and female pay is sickening. My experience is just one of many across the firm. The company needs to evolve and provide equal pay to all genders! They say they do, but in reality they absolutely do not!

Pros

The people here are very welcoming and supportive, which made it easy to get comfortable as a new intern. Communication across the team is clear and consistent, so expectations are well understood and questions are always encouraged. I’ve felt included and able to learn quickly because of how approachable everyone is.

Cons

Since I’ve only been here for a short time, I haven’t experienced many downsides yet. As a newer intern, there is a learning curve when getting familiar with systems and processes, which can feel a bit overwhelming at times. Additionally, the workload can vary, with some slower periods mixed with busier times, making it a bit harder to maintain a steady pace early on.

Pros

I've been with the firm for 6 years, starting at the associate level, and some of the most foundational moments of my career have happened here. The culture is genuinely a go-getter one — from staff to partner, people show up with real guidance, not gatekeeping. As a Black woman now in a management role here, I can speak to this directly: performance is what gets rewarded, full stop. I've asked for what I felt I'd earned and gotten it. Leadership has shown up for me in ways that go beyond the job — present for milestone moments in my life, invested in me as a person, not just a line on a chart. If you're willing to put in the work, this firm will invest right back.

Cons

Tax season hours can run long — that's pretty typical for this industry, but it's worth knowing what you're walking into. The pace and accountability here push you to grow fast— if you're looking for something more hands-off, this might not be the right fit.
