Pros
Most co-workers are nice and collaborative Great benefits: insurance, RRSP match, fitness coverage etc Salary Carer Opportunities Corporate events
Cons
No work/life balance for this specific role: you are expected to work overtime (by agreement) and sometimes weekends due to the time-zone difference for global corporate offices. The overtimes are not tracked and not paid out. It's called flex work when you potentially can take a few hours away instead. In reality, you have way more overtime than you are allowed to take as paid time off. A toxic work environment in the administrative team: favoritism, gossiping, and inappropriate comments from coworkers who were not my managers. However, the HR team is working hard towards improving work ethics. Excessive workload: The executive team I worked for was too big to be supported by one assistant.
