Pros

The pros to working here are few but that you work from home and no one is micromanaging you. They provide decent benefits.

Cons

The cons are endless. The workload is excessive and unmanageable. Corporate staff is not helpful and often disrespectful. The company prioritizes profit over both employee and client welfare. During my tenure, many employees left, and instead of hiring replacements, the workload of remaining staff was tripled, with the expectation that we would somehow keep up. Valid concerns were disregarded, and employees were essentially told to leave if they didn’t want to deal with the situation. This is indicative of how little the company values its employees. Additionally, they make it very difficult to work from anywhere but your home office, requiring you to transport all of your equipment, which is completely impractical and unreasonable.

Pros

Working from home is the only benefit

Cons

I started at Elevate four years ago, and it was an absolutely amazing company. Elevate was sold to Nobility a couple of years ago, and the company has gone straight downhill since then. Every manager has been worse than the last. It's honestly like they bought Elevate just to destroy it. Nobility now expects stateside billers to train Pakistani men (young, inexperienced Pakistani men—very nice but with zero experience in dental, obviously) to send claims and attachments and post insurance payments. The stateside biller is supposed to be the "face" of the dental office while the Pakistani team does the work. The main problem is that they make a TON of errors. It becomes the biller's job to fix all of their mistakes and take the blame because Nobility does not inform the dental offices that the Pakistani team is accessing their computers to do the work. This company has gone from around 60 billers down to about 15 during this transition. They have also lost 75% of their clients due to inaccurate posting of payments and the large number of outstanding claims over 90 days old. The billers are all so overworked, and no one ever gets a raise because management continually says you are "under-allocated," even though you literally could not work any harder. The men in Pakistan make $200 USD per month. Disgusting. It's a disgusting company all around. I've seen new billers get hired and then instantly handed 4-5 offices. These offices are complete messes, with over 100 claims over 90 days old. The billers are expected to clean up those offices and then get "written up" for not doing a good enough job. It's an impossible situation. Overtime is not allowed. I have worked HUNDREDS of hours off the clock just to keep my offices in good shape. I couldn’t take time off because there aren't enough billers left to cover for my five offices, while everyone already has 5-6 of their own. I mean, I could take time off, but the mess that I would come back to would be insane, so I end up taking my laptop on vacation and working from wherever I am. The Insurance Verification Team is in the same situation. They also have to train and monitor the Pakistani men. The stateside IV team has gone from 22 specialists down to 3. Expectations are completely unreasonable, mainly because management has zero experience with the actual job, so they don't understand any of it. The latest manager is most likely going to be the nail in the coffin. She was the company's unsuccessful marketing agent who was transferred to management due to all the other managers quitting. She is not a people person, does not show any appreciation to anyone, and no one can stand her. Can you imagine doing a job for 20-30 years and then having to sit and listen to someone with zero experience berate and threaten you and your co-workers at every company meeting about things she knows nothing about? Shameful. It's really sad. Elevate was a great company. Nobility destroyed it.
