I have never worked somewhere more toxic. A solid portion of the leadership team refuse to change course when given honest feedback. They believe their way is 100% right 100% of the time. I personally experienced & heard stories from others reminiscent of mean girls in high school.
There are clear favorites, and it doesn't matter if they are condescending and poor performers, they will stick around and will not be reprimanded. They are not consistent in their decisions when it comes to addressing employee performance or problematic behavior.
The place is a revolving door. They're willing to let anyone go at any time, and a large portion of employees quit before they even reach one year. Many many talented people have left because of a few toxic employees that were never addressed.
Priorities are constantly shifting at the last minute, making it really difficult to do your best work.
They are insanely focused on growth, which is not a bad thing in and of itself, but they don't have the best foundation to build on. There are so many weak points that need addressing and fixing before they're in a place to successfully grow but they aren't paying any mind to that.
There is unlimited PTO but there are levels (1, 2, and 3). You still have to work unless you take level 3, and even then you probably have to work. I never had a day off. I worked weekends and nights. There is no work life balance.
