Contract job offering flexibility but relatively low pay for the work required. - Teacher Elevate K-12 Employee Review

Pros

Poor curriculum, micromanagement, and relatively low pay. The material provided for teaching is boring, inadequate in most cases, and requires planning on your own time. As rules, procedures, and policies change over the years, they create a lot of confusion for teachers.

Cons

You can set your own hours and work from home

While we’re glad to hear that the flexibility and remote work options have been beneficial for you, we’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience may have been frustrating. Regarding curriculum, we strive to provide materials that are both effective and engaging, and we understand that individual teaching styles may call for additional customization. We're continuing to invest in curriculum enhancements and educator support to reduce the planning burden and improve consistency. We thank you for the work you’ve done to support students through our platform!
