Pros

- Good enough when transitioning from other work fields - You get to at least acquire basic and practical testing skills - You're able to peek behind the scenes of some of the games released to the public from a tester's perspective

Cons

- If you're a Tech or CS grad (or someone who heavily aspires to be a QA), I would suggest investing in and taking courses in QA like ISTQB and automation instead - Management can be too lax or too micro depending on the leads - Technical testing knowledge is sparse or lacking

Pros

Most of the QA testers especially from the GY/AM shift were easy to befriend with (+ select Shift Leads)

Cons

Management s*cks. After becoming a so-called "entity", I realized that the higher your position, the less work you have. Some of the Shift Leads not even doing heavy workloads. After sending requests to the testers from client, they just sit there and do some browsing with non work related stuff. The MICROMANAGING is soooooo much to the point that production is declining from the employee. No growth in this company. They don't have refresher or training to train their employees regarding the new Trends for QA testing.
