Despite what may look good from the outside, this company treats its employees like slaves, demanding excessive sacrifice for minimal return.
1. Unfair Compensation and Excessive Workload
Compensation: Salaries are ridiculously low, and equity is practically non-existent. This clearly shows the company has no intention of providing fair compensation for the work done.
Workload: Quotas are abnormally high, and the workload is not properly distributed. The resulting excessive burden and responsibility placed on individuals make it nearly impossible for employees with families to fulfill their domestic obligations.
2. Efforts Are Not Rewarded:
Working hard and achieving good performance makes no difference. We are simply expected to continue performing like slaves, with no real expectation of appropriate rewards or advancement.
3. Lack of Organizational Structure and Role Clarity:
The internal organization is poorly structured, making it difficult to ascertain the exact position and responsibilities (R and R) of the people we interact with. The blanket term 'GTM' seems intended to make employees work across all boundaries (Sales, Marketing, etc.) without having to properly compensate them for the expanded scope.
4. Untrustworthy Leadership:
Leadership constantly tells compelling stories but never honors the promises made to either the employees or the customers. Growth based on mutual trust is impossible here.
The culture here is one where dissent is met with the ultimatum: 'If you don't like it, then leave.' More disturbingly, this often escalates into the reality of 'We will force you out'‘, with threats and actual termination actions being a common occurrence
This company intends to consume and burn you out as a disposable resource, not grow with you. I strongly recommend seeking out other opportunities. I plan to escape as soon as a good chance arises.
