Close knit company. You have a chance to get to know everyone pretty well, across different departments. Great benefits, thanks to mother company Federal Signal. Your work makes a big impact on the company. You can see the value in what you do.
Cons
Departments often work against one another rather than together. It has gotten better over the last few years, but it still needs some work. There is little room to advance your career within the company. Many leave Elgin to work for a sister company or a different organization altogether.
