Pros

Elliance, despite being small, does great work as witnessed by its awards. It's a low paper work and low bureaucracy kind of place. Work space is intimate and well designed. A couple long-standing employees have really settled into the cushy nooks and crannies.

Cons

This is very much a family business, with all of the dynamics that come with that. Several relatives employed. CEO plays a larger than life dad role. Mostly a good thing — except when dad disapproves and someone needs to be made to play the scapegoat. He's an exceptionally hard working CEO — but cursed by blindspots. He hires poorly at times. He can't keep strong American women on board — for which he blames the women. He over talks at staff meetings and with clients — he lacks a filter for what's business and what's personal. Some clients love him — others tire of his constant "pay attention to me" personality. For cultural and "family" reasons, it's not a safe place to truly stand up to the CEO.
