      Pros

      Cons

      There is always a looming threat of layoffs stemming from regular rounds of redundancy. In my short tenure here I have seen 3 rounds alone and was unfortunately made redundant myself during the 3rd round. Below market pay; depending on the job role you are doing. While I was adequately compensated, I know some of my other colleagues in other departments weren't. Despite informing management of the pay discrepancy and repeatedly asking for raises over the course of many months nothing was done to action this. This has resulted in a lot of people from these departments leaving/looking to leave (as confirmed by my recent conversations with fellow Elliptites). Elliptic strongly champions the value of "openness" but the truth this a lot of decisions are made abruptly (e.g.: going ahead with delivery targets even when lots of people have left/been made redundant) leading to reduced employee morale and unnecessary stress. While I learned a lot by working at Elliptic and enjoyed the majority of my time there, I would hesitate to recommend it to anyone due to the precarious work environment.
