Pros
Started working for Elutions roughly 6 months ago. Came from a huge tech corp where I was a cog in a wheel and nobody cared about my progression or input, especially because I am a woman. My coworkers genuinely care about what I have to say, are welcome to change and treat me with respect. The new hire mentor program is phenomenal, I feel like they truly care about making me feel included and knowing I have a support system so that I can hit all of my targets before my summer review. The technology is innovative and protected, Elutions holds 81 patents on their technology. I like to work for innovative companies rather than companies that sell software that makes you rip and replace your old software. Elutions is compatible with so many other technologies and never forces the customer to rip out their old technologies. Work schedule is flexible and management understands that sometimes life happens. My work life balance has changed completely since working at Elutions. I used to absolutely dread going into work at my former company, now I can't wait to get out the door in the morning.
Cons
The work is challenging because the technology is innovative and teaching prospective clients about what that technology can do is not always easy. Not every employee gets into the office on time, many of the employees come late and leave early. This is frustrating because I always work a full 9 hours and don't like thinking other employees are taking advantage of management's flexibility. Asked to wear a lot of hats and the amount of travel can be taxing.
