Pros
- Great work culture - Great opportunity for improvement/upwards mobility - Entire team is great. Noticed the review below indicating mobility of work location is only available for "family and friends" -- is not true at all. Show your worth, just like any other company and you will have the trust of the leadership to move around and be flexible. I'm a former employee but I've got to say, the current director of FedRAMP (Bhanu) is one of the most highly skilled and smart individuals I've had the pleasure to meet. Does not micromanage and is extremely detail-oriented. Very inspiring to work with him (when you receive the opportunity to, as he's super busy). The previous leadership left and I've seen Bhanu completely reinvigorate the practice with new life. Easily one of my greatest mentors. The entire team is absolutely phenomenal and extremely intelligent. During the interview process, it's mentioned the FedRAMP team is essentially the "SWAT" team of Emagine IT and I can say first-hand, that's absolutely true. Very flexible and dynamic team and knows how to get things done. *I may be biased as I work on the FedRAMP team :)
Cons
- TONS of work. You will maybe occasionally have downtime, but it will be short-lived. - Long hours -- you will have to put in more than 40 hrs. a week if you want to be successful on the FedRAMP team. No way around it. - Compensation is great, but could be better.
