Pros
1. They pay very well, infact you can use them to boost your salary and jump to some other company with increased salary. 2. Flexible timing. You can come at 12 or 3 or sometimes even 6 in the evening and no one will be bothered. 3. Flexible attendance, they use cards for logging in and log out, so guess what you can handover your card to someone else and enjoy your vacation or don’t even bother that because the data from biometric is not reliable and at the end of every month HR will mail you for your attendance. 4. If you love office politics and gossip, this is an amazing place. You will never be short of office gossip. On a serious note, 1. Office location is good. 2. Amazing people who will go to any extent to help you personally. 3. They are working on fantastic idea. If executed properly, they can add so much value to every students life.
Cons
1. As mentioned in previous comments. Content team is a sweatshop. In my 1 year, not a single project was delivered completely though the content team was working day in and day out for psuedo deadlines. 2. The company is basically processless company. Embibe doesn’t have a process for anything. Variable pay - no process, taking a mocktest live - no process, etc. They have no task management and project management tool, to get anything done you have to move from desk to desk. They could not implement Jira. 3. Somehow the company only works on google sheets for anything. 4. If you work here, you will be working for a moving goal and your goal can be moved in a day, 2 days or a week and you cannot do anything. 5. You won’t ever get salary or vaiable on time. They somehow manage to delay it everytime. 6. It is a focus less company and only thing you will learn here is how to manage people to do some work which will be irrelevant in some days. For eg., they are B2B, B2C, B2G, B2G2C, B2B2C all at the same time. 7. Everyone in the company is working super hard, but no one knows for what. PS: if you see the history of reviews, you will notice that current employees were asked to write good reviews to improve the rating.
