Awesome work place - Hair Stylist Emme Hair Employee Review

Emme hair provides training and education with employee discounts on their products. They will train you on Color and extensions but the owners who train you didn’t go to hair school but provide courses at VCC and Kingdom beauty in the past.

Management asks too many personal questions and require you to work during Vacation time. They also don’t differentiate medical leave from vacation leave so any surgeries will be taken off your vacation hours . You are also required to come in on your day offs to do non paid training but you may get written up for not attending which is illegal if it’s not on a work day. They lie to their clients that the staff working on them is senior but is actually in training. Blanche Macdonald school and VCC has been notified of their mishandling of staff and does not recommend their students to this salon. They have also fired all their staff and renamed their salon previously.

Don’t care about their employees at all.
