Pros

Significant high level interaction with business, nurses and medical physicians. A large amount of data available for determining how to solve healthcare issues.

Cons

Software absent for statistical within the Emory healthcare. Medical physicians and their staff have access to university software but Emory healthcare prohibited. Management in nursing does not understand how to integrate nursing analytics and data to solve problems. They just do not know. Data is severely restricted and self contained and provided to university but not to healthcare. Management does not want to spend dollars on software for analytics. And do not want to train analyst as well.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
