Pros

The benefits are good if you can stay long enough. You get to list it on your resume. If you go through the med tech program and agree to work for 2 years your school and books are free.

Cons

They hire and promote based on cliques not ability or experience. They consider experience a threat and dont welcome suggestions. Loyalty and hard work is NOT rewarded.Pay and shift differential is substandard even though they say they do surveys of competing hospitals. They had to start a lab tech program so they could have cheap labor to work on yucky shifts. No creativity or flexibility with work schedules. Do 5 eights and fight that Atlanta traffic coming and going.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
